OUR STORY

A place close to home.

Ara began on our family farm, on land my mother purchased. We’re building a place to share the things we love about home: our food, craftsmanship, culture, and time together.

A few things to know

What about security at Ara?

Ara offers time in nature without being as remote as you might imagine. We’re in Owode Egba, an established town with everyday life and activity around us.

Your peace of mind matters to us, and we have security measures in place to support your time at Ara. We hope a visit helps you feel more familiar with the area and experience the setting for yourself. If you have questions before coming, our team is always happy to speak with you at hello@ara-retreat.com.

What about mosquitoes and insects?

Ara is a farm retreat, so sharing the space with nature includes encountering mosquitoes and other insects. We have measures in place to help reduce their presence, including insect-repellent plants around the grounds and mosquito nets for sleeping.

You’re welcome to bring your preferred personal insect repellent for added comfort. We’re taking reasonable steps to make your time here comfortable. We hope you’ll settle in and enjoy the experience, perhaps more easily than you imagined.

Can you help with pickup and drop-off?

If you’d prefer not to drive, pickup and drop-off services can be arranged at an additional cost. Please note it when booking, and our team will share the available options and pricing before you confirm the service.
